Starlights Youth Theatre Workshop
As of Friday 3 rd November we will be holding a youth theatre workshop in the village hall from 3.30 - 4.30pm for children aged 7 - 11yrs old. The sessions will be run by myself, and Nicki Stevens and we will be covering topics such as basic stage craft and drama including public speaking, dance and singing. No previous experience is necessary just bags of enthusiasm. Numbers are limited to 16 for regulation requirements and sessions will run term time only at a cost of £3.50per session.
I have used drama and music in various schools from Pre School to secondary and found it to be a fantastic way to build children’s confidence and self esteem. We will be hoping that the culmination of this will be a performance by the children, this will be a fantastic and rewarding experience all round.
