Hello Badminton players - what’s up?
In the normal course of events the Autumn/Winter period can be anticipated to be the most active time for ‘indoor’ clubs, but it seems that perhaps something is amiss with the badminton group at present. Certainly I have not been able to discover who is the present supremo now that MARTIN WAYMAN has left that position and therefore it is not possible to print an up to date report of the club’s progress. I have been able to ascertain however, that badminton is still played on Mondays and Friday evenings - does that mean we have two clubs instead of one?
It is good news if it is correct that badminton is still active here and if any reader can tell me what the current situation is regarding the club I shall be delighted to include a more helpful report in the next Grampound Times in the Spring of 2007.
