SUNDAY CLUB NEWS

Can you believe it, 10 years ago the Sunday Club started. It has been a very rewarding time with several of our young people going all the way through and now with us as helpers.

We will be having a special ‘Birthday Service’ on Sunday 9 th September at 10.30am followed by a bring and share lunch. Please join us if you can as the Sunday Club is an important part of the Church family and we would love to have your support.

RACHEL has organised a banner making competition and all the designs submitted will be incorporated into a banner (with the one judged to be the best getting a prize) that the Sunday Club can use. Hopefully it will be finished for the Carnival if Rachel can persuade the children to spend part of the holidays sewing and painting. So look out for it in the parade.

We usually have a party or outing in September to celebrate a new year for the club. We haven’t made arrangements as yet for this year, but look out for future announcements as we are hoping to sort something soon.

Our Parish Praise Services go from strength to strength thanks to SCOTT who leads us, SUE who leads the music group and all the young people who play a large variety of musical instruments. If you would like a more informal Service and a chance to have a good sing we would love to see you.
