THE GRAMPOUND TIMES Edition 46 Readers Quiz

It is “CONGRATULATIONS!” time again as this new edition is compiled. In fact it is “DOUBLE CONGRATULATIONS” as with great pleasure I announce that two households sent me identical excellent answer sheets.

I hope that DAWN HARRIS and daughter EMMA and PENNY KENDALL will all enjoy the Easter Egg and Easter Chocolate Figures that the Grampound Times is very pleased to present them with.

There is no Quiz to look for in this edition so rest your brains folk in readiness for the next time you see a Quiz included. Although I felt pleased with my selection when I purchased the large decorated Easter Eggs and Chocolate Figures for the prizes, I realised when reading my delivered edition of the Cornwall Advertiser that Mrs. Harris had recently received an even better prize from someone else!

Whilst undergoing treatment at Treliske Hospital for her cancer her luck took a great turn for the better when she noticed a copy of ‘Competitor’s Companion’ Magazine lying in the Ward. With time to spare as one does in those circumstances, Dawn decided to enter the competition printed inside - and Wow! A £5000 cash prize resulted!

 Having already visited in the past the city of Bruges for a short stay, part of the prize money will now take her and her husband back there, this time in great style, possibly travelling on the famous Orient Express and staying at a luxury hotel.

We all wish you a speedy return to good health Dawn and hope that when you get round to spending that fabulous prize you have a brilliant time!
