Starlights Youth Drama Workshop
Starlights are still going from strength to strength particularly after the 3 short Christmas performances the children put on for their family, friends and class mates. It was fantastic fun for all and the performances were terrific considering how short a period of time they all had in which to rehearse and perform. The three plays were; The night before Christmas (alternative version) fantastic performances with use of fly on the wall documentary style, mime and poetry by Will, Hettie and Laurie. The alternative 12 days of Christmas, this had the performers and parents crying with laughter great work by all in this one, Tanis, Molly, Antalya and Aaron and finally but by no means least “The night the reindeer disappeared” performed with great gusto and comic timing by Dan, Kieron, Sennan, Chloe and Bridget. The performance was topped off by 3 great songs performed by the entire group. A resounding success and great fun. Well done to you all! This year we will be holding a mock Oscar night to celebrate all their success this will be held after their summer musical performance which we hope to start work on after half term. We will be hoping to perform this in the hall date and time to be confirmed so keep an eye out in the post office and hall for more details.
