I have just received the following ‘news-advertisement’ from Cornwall County Council asking me to bring it to your attention. I have received some requests from the County Council before to publish items but as in this case they always forget to offer any contribution towards printing costs. The G.T has a considerable printing cost which is met by our advertisers and the kind folk who make donations towards it. Somewhere within that ever increasing County Council Tax demand made upon all of us is a budget for publicising their services etc. and it is time a little was offered in this direction. However, it is a worthwhile item so after wading through my ramblings, here is the item:
