Having had a ‘senior moment’ recently whereby I found that I had missed an Appointment with Nurse, I tried to remedy the situation by making an early visit to the Grampound Surgery - thanks to DR. ROUND this was successful but it also gave me the pleasure of having a brief chat with GEORGE EDWARDS who was also there. It was a particular pleasure because I had not met with him for some time and knowing that he had not been too well for sometime I could not help but comment as to how well and cheerful he looked. I am sure that very many of the “G.T” readers will be pleased to learn that Grampound’s oldest resident born in the village is keeping a big beaming smile on his face, and we all look forward with him to December when he achieves his 87 th Birthday. Great stuff George!
