Letters to the Editor

In the Christmas edition I published a letter I had received from MRS. MARY BENNETT which told of the ‘travels’ of each edition of the A few days ago I had occasion to visit TIM LOBBS garage and whilst there met up with MICHAEL BIDDICK who I had not seen for some considerable time. The four children of the Biddick family, MICHAEL, ROGER, ANNETTE and GRAHAM whose family home was at New Hill Estate are now living away from Grampound but are shortly to provide a seat for Grampound residents in memory of their Mother MRS. ADDIE BIDDICK, a gesture that the Parish Council has already expressed gratitude for. At his request I passed to Michael a copy of the last Grampound Times following which I was pleased to receive the letter reproduced below:

Dear Roger,
Many thanks for sending me the Grampound Times, it was so nice to get up to date with some of the items. Sadly it brought back memories of some of our old mates with whom we had so much good fun in our younger years. I have now passed it on to brother ROGER and then it goes a step further to sister ANNETTE in Saltash. We would be very grateful if you could forward new editions to the three of us. I hope our donation covers the cost, if not please let us know.
